 Rollings shutters
Rolling shutters first appeared in 1882. At that time, shutters were made from wooden boards. They were not very easy to operate and could only cover small surfaces. Anton Griesser patented the first rolling shutters. Griesser rolling shutters are characterized by both longevity and security. The Griesser security concept includes highly stable slats and guides and an automatic safety locking device.

Stackable shutter
The stackable shutter is the most unusual of the Griesser rolling shutters. The stackable shutter is, as its name suggests, folded instead of rolled up and so does not require a lot of installation space. This opens up a wealth of new possibilities for reconstructions or renovations in narrow installation situations, as well as in modern architecture, where glass and an unrestricted view outside play a key role.
Rolling shutter with aluminum slats
You can choose from two versions of rolling shutters with aluminum slats. With Alucolor® 41, the slat connections are mobile, which means that rooms can be flooded with light and supplied with fresh air at all times, while they are securely connected with Alucolor® 25 – ideal for a little privacy.
Rolling shutter with aluminum foam filled slats
The shutter slats of this aluminum rolling shutter are filled with an environmentally-friendly material, making this rolling shutter sound-deadening; it also provides maximum protection against intrusion.
Security rolling shutter
The security rolling shutter provides, as its name implies, security – thanks to the thick-walled, stable slats and the reinforced safety guide rails.
