	Cassette awnings A cassette awning guarantees fully-functional, all-round protection. The mechanics and awning fabric are hidden away in the compact cassette once the awning has been rolled up and are optimally protected from wind and other weather elements.
	Open awnings Open awnings have no protective cassette. They are therefore mainly suited to situations where roof overhangs or balcony ceilings protect the retracted awnings from the elements.
