Griesser pledges support for another eco project

What does The Ocean CleanUp do and what is Griesser’s involvement in the project? The organization deals with the pollution of our oceans and aims to raise awareness for waste. By supporting The Ocean CleanUp, Griesser also highlights the importance of sustainability.

Pure action on the 7th race day – skipper injured

After the crew of Matthias on the boat Greenings had been the only vessel to take a different route, it’s strategy appeared to be paying off. On the 7th race day, however, their plans were thwarted by a thumb injury of skipper David Harsthorn. David was taken to the nearest A&E department in a helicopter and the crew had to take a detour to Porto harbor in order to pick up its new skipper. But throwing in the towel was not an option and Matthias Eigenmann and his crew continued their journey to Punta del Este on August 29.
