A project for tomorrow, bioMérieux laboratory

bioMérieux, a major player in the field of in vitro diagnostics since 1963, offers solutions to improve patient health and consumer safety. The company's commitment to public health has therefore been rooted in history for over 50 years.

Griesser was pleased to participate in a transformation plan for the bioMérieux site in western Lyon. This project is divided into 3 buildings. The first building is designed to receive visitors with a showroom, meeting rooms and conferences. The other two buildings are intended to house the research and development activities and the tertiary activities, including the customer relations centre.

In this transformation plan, the choice of our Grinotex directional sunshade was a natural one so that employees could enjoy an unobstructed view of the outdoor park with a communal vegetable garden. Only the orientation cord is visible.

The Grinotex is integrated into a double brick wall structure. It protects the occupants from the heat and provides visual comfort by stopping the glare. The lifting and closing system is integrated in the slider. Our Grinotex external venetian blinds are also appreciated for their burglar-proof properties, which provide additional security for the site.
